Dear Mr.President

I am writing to you as a Grade 10 student who is deeply concerned about the quality of education in our country. As a young Filipino, I believe that education is the foundation of a strong and progressive nation. Yet many students, especially in rural and underserved areas, continue to face challenges due to outdated learning materials, lack of access to technology, and overcrowded classrooms.

I respectfully urge your administration to increase funding for updated textbooks, digital learning tools, and teacher training programs in public schools. These resources are essential for helping students like me keep up with global standards and prepare for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and other vital fields. In today’s fast-changing world, access to quality education should not be a privilege—it should be a right for every Filipino child.

I also hope that more attention will be given to improving school infrastructure, ensuring internet access, and supporting mental health services for students. These steps will not only enhance learning but also promote a safer and more inclusive environment for all.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I sincerely hope that you will prioritize education in your administration’s policies and help build a brighter future for the youth of our nation.

Sincerely

Yhassie Quillayen
